Jordan grew up hunting and fishing in the tidal swamp lands of Southern New Jersey and the Delaware Bay. A few years after high school, in 2006, he moved to the Lower Klamath River near Orleans California where his passion for steelhead and the amazing rivers of the Pacific Northwest flourished. He has since moved to Southern Oregon in 2013 and lives in Ashland as a full-time guide. Jordan specializes in steelhead flyfishing on the Upper and Middle Rogue River in the fall and winter. Late spring through early fall he guides on the Williamson River and Agency Lake chasing trophy Klamath Basin Red Band Trout. He has experience guiding in Alaska as well as Idaho on the Clearwater River and the Umpqua River system of Southern Oregon for trout and steelhead as well, which have all helped hone his skills as the premier fly-fishing guide in Southern Oregon for large wild steelhead and trout. Jordan began fishing at a young age and with over 20 years of experience in the Pacific Northwest fishing scene and hundreds upon hundreds of days guiding the local rivers of Southern Oregon he has an extensive fly-fishing knowledge and is a willing teacher of the craft. Fundamentally sound with the whys and the how’s of both casting and presentation of flies, he enjoys guiding beginning and experienced anglers alike and engaging everyone in the art of fly fishing.
